We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in a direct hire capacity. This role is critical to the accurate and timely processing of multi-state payroll using ADP. You’ll support employees with payroll-related inquiries and ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations.

Qualifications
Must have Associate’s Degree in a related field
Must have at least 2 years of payroll experience required
ADP Experience Strongly Preferred
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and HR practices
Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
Process multi-state payroll using ADP
Ensure timecard accuracy and timely submission
Prepare payroll reports and maintain internal records
Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain payroll compliance and protect employee data
Use ADP Smart Compliance to manage tax withholdings and garnishments
Ensure wage garnishments and deductions are correctly uploaded
Process Improvements
Train staff on payroll systems and procedures
Recommend and implement improvements for greater efficiency
Maintain clear documentation of all payroll processes
