SUMMARY
Ensure payroll data integration with other tools and software applications to enable automated data exchanges and synchronization across systems. Leads the automation, integration, and configuration of core HR processes. Collects and analyzes data to improve HR processes and suggests ways to increase the functional productivity and workflow of the HR department to ensure efficiency and compliance. Ensures that mandatory and voluntary withholdings and deductions are accurately calculated and reported. Assists with questions about payroll policies and pay discrepancies. Assists in the preparation of year end W-2s or other related tax filings or reports. Supports Payroll teams with weekly and biweekly payroll tasks for multiple pay groups as needed. Position involves high degree of confidentiality and compliance.
MUST HAVE Experience with SuccessFactors and UKG Pro.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all compensation and tax regulations. Submits all payroll tax notices to payroll vendor to ensure timely resolution.
- Review tax filings to ensure data reconciles
- Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork for tax deductions and garnishments
- Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records; Supports all 3rd party audits
- Report to HR management on payroll issues and changes
- Stay up-to-date on state and federal payroll and tax laws. Inform team of regulation changes and ensure HRIS configuration is updated accordingly.
- Act as HR Lead for HRIS system implementations, including continued testing and configuration, security administration, report writing, system optimization post go-live, and coordination of cross-functional dependencies between HR, Benefits, and Payroll.
- Manage requests for process improvements, system enhancements, and the development and/or implementation of new software applications.
- Actively identify and resolve issues or opportunities for enhanced user experience and other HRIS integrations.
- Ensures that data fields required within the global HRIS are updated timely and accurately
- Create custom reports as needed; Maintain and administer report library in B.I. (Business Intelligence); training and assisting users of those ad hoc report writing tools.
- Listen to customer needs and explain complex technical issues and solutions in a plain and common descriptive manner.
- Supports and collaborates with global and local teams in various departments to achieve common objectives.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with HR IT business solutions is required (including, but not limited to, UKG PRO, SAP, ADP, and/or SuccessFactors).
- Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems, involves leadership when needed. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Windows including Word & Excel, and reporting writing.
