Job Description

We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to become a vital part of our team in Flower Mound, TX. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely payroll for our employees while also supporting key accounting functions. You will collaborate closely with HR and the accounting team, leveraging your payroll expertise and accounting acumen to contribute to our overall operational efficiency and compliance. Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is highly valued.

Job Specific Functions:

  • Own the bi-weekly payroll cycle in ADP, ensuring accurate and timely processing for all employees.
  • Champion compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour regulations and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the Human Resources department to maintain accurate employee compensation and benefits data.
  • Generate and reconcile detailed payroll reports to ensure data integrity.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing well-organized payroll and accounting documentation.
  • Contribute to the efficiency of our accounting department by assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of practical experience in payroll processing and general accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience with ADP; proficiency in Workforce Now is strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
