Position Summary Practice patient service rep. proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment; answers incoming phone calls, responds to general patient requests, takes telephone messages and schedules patient appointments. Position Requirements * Education and Previous Experience * High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. * Hardware/Software Experience * Practice management/medical billing computer programs. * Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel) * Other Characteristics * Excellent oral/written communication skills * Excellent organizational skills * Detailed oriented * Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and develop applicable policies and procedures (e.g., regarding collections) * Flexible; able to adapt to change * Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities a plus
