APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify a Patient Account Rep

Location: Torrance, CA 90505

Position: Patient Account Rep

Pay Rate: $25.86/hr

Duration: 13 weeks

Expected Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Requirements:

• Ability to accurately process patient payments via various methods (cash, check, credit card, online portals),
• Understanding of reconciliation processes and handling discrepancies
• Ability to navigate and utilize the hospital's patient accounting system (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) to access patient accounts, review billing history, and document interactions.
• Familiarity with hospital billing practices, including understanding of charges, adjustments, and payments.
• Years of experience REQ: 5 years of experience in HOSPITAL business office self-pay collections.
• Certs Req: Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, email).
