The Role
We are currently working with a leading sports and entertainment organization who are seeking a Partnership Sales Director to drive revenue growth through corporate partnerships. With a diverse portfolio that includes sports teams, arenas, and event venues, they are dedicated to delivering exceptional fan experiences and innovative brand activations.
They are looking for a results-driven sales leader to secure and grow strategic partnerships across the organization. The ideal candidate has a proven track record within sponsorship sales, business development, or brand partnerships, with a strong ability to build and close deals independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and close new corporate partnerships through outreach, discovery, presentations, and negotiations.
Identify and engage prospective partners through market research, category analysis, and industry trends.
Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned partners, ensuring long-term success.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations to deliver top-tier sponsorship activations.
Maintain and track sales activities through CRM platforms (e.g., KORE, Salesforce).
Represent the organization at games, events, and industry conferences to expand business opportunities.
Key Requirements:
Experienced seller with a proven track record of delivering $800k - $1M in annual sales
Proven track record of closing high-value deals and managing strategic partnerships within traditional & media partnerships.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Experience using CRM platforms (KORE, Salesforce, etc.) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed for games, activations, and meetings.
