Partner Engineering is a highly technical team that works with our strategic partners to integrate Meta products into their mobile platforms, apps, devices as well as our AR/VR platforms. Partner Engineers bring technical knowledge of Android platforms to lead highly visible initiatives and launch impactful products with our strategic mobile partners.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years of relevant industry experience in software engineering or partner engineering. 6+ years of industry experience in Android. Knowledge of Android development and usage various SDKs, Frameworks and libraries. Experience owning complex and ambiguous problems. Expertise in AOSP (Android Open Source Platform). Experience in SOC architecture. Advanced software development experience in languages and environments such as Java, NDK(C++) and/or PHP. Experience with Hardware Peripherals (e.g. Controllers, Motion Tracking, Eye Tracking, Haptics, Spatial Audio). Experience communicating with external parties. Experience with technical advocacy and Kotlin. Familiarity with the Android/AR/VR product development lifecycle. Practical knowledge of Android hardware as an Android enthusiast. Communication, analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
