Vanport Mechanical & Fire Sprinklers, Inc. is a trusted provider of HVAC and Fire Sprinkler services, committed to delivering top-notch service to our customers. We are seeking an
outgoing and organized individual to join our team as a
Part-Time Dispatch & Customer Service Representative. If you enjoy
helping people, solving problems, and keeping schedules running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting them with service requests and scheduling.
- Dispatch and coordinate service technicians based on priority and availability.
- Process work tickets and ensure accurate documentation of service calls.
- Order parts and materials needed for service repairs.
- Send reminders for upcoming maintenance and service appointments.
- Handle general office tasks, including data entry, email communication, and follow-ups.
- Socail Meadia marketing - Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn,
- Participate in on-call dispatch approximately one week per month to assist with after-hours service requests.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong communicator who enjoys talking with people and assisting them with their needs.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of juggling multiple schedules.
- Experience in dispatching, scheduling, or customer service (preferred but not required).
- Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet.
- Basic computer skills for processing work orders and managing schedules.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Part-time position (hours to be discussed).
- No benefits initially, but after one year, eligibility for the 401(k) program.
- Paid Time Off (PTO): Earn 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.
- On-call pickup time: Approximately one week per month.
