Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our finance team during a 6-month leave coverage. This role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping skills who is comfortable handling invoicing, data entry, and general financial tasks in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities
+ Process and manage client invoicing.
+ Perform general bookkeeping tasks including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
+ Enter financial data accurately into accounting systems.
+ Prepare and make bank deposits.
+ Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
+ Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations as needed.
+ Assist with Payroll as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting support.
+ Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Work Environment
The role is based in an office setting, on-site 5 days per week. You will work closely with the office administration. This position is part of a small accounting team where you will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role, assisting with the retirement transition of a long-standing team member. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, providing a chance to grow within the company. Hours can be flexible!
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
