Role Overview
We’re seeking a Part-Time Experienced Assistant to support our leadership team with a mix of administrative, operational, and field-based tasks. This hybrid role combines remote work with in-person follow-ups at government offices and with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be professional, polite, proactive, well-organised, and capable of working independently. There is potential for this role to transition to full-time in future, for the right candidate, once the company becomes fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit and follow up with government departments, local authorities, and third-party service providers
- Handle confidential document submissions, collect forms, and monitor progress on official processes
- Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and prepare relevant materials
- Conduct basic research and assist in compiling reports and presentations
- Track progress across multiple projects and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Represent the company clearly and professionally in all communications
What You’ll Need
- Strong sense of initiative and ownership; ability to work with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English, French, and Creole
- Based in Mauritius with reliable access to transport for occasional travel
- Ability to work from home with your own laptop and internet connection (required for daily operations)
- Prior experience in administration, coordination, or engaging with public sector offices is preferred
