Range of Pay: $60,000-$90,000 depending on experience

Job Description: This position requires you to assist the Project Managers and/or Superintendents in the paint department with the coordination of activities on each project you are assigned. You will be learning the ins/outs of reporting costs, schedule, documentation, and quality control.
The essential functions and responsibilities are as follows, but are not limited to:
Ability to review plans and specifications, project schedules, as well as a full understanding of project paint scope, etc.
Assist with kick-off and/or job start meetings.
Assist the Project Manager with take-off (OST/QB) in preparation for a working budget associated with the project. This will be based on value engineering, actual construction methods, actual quantities, and estimated production rates specific to said project.
Assist the Project Manager in the generation of man-loaded schedules, submittals, RFI’s, document control, etc., and verify responses are received and processed completely.
Assist the Project Manager with the needs of managing several projects.
Attending project meetings, as directed by the Project Manager, for each project that you are associated with, document and communicate issues of the project with the project team.
Assist the Project Manager with weekly project commitment meeting where you will communicate project status and issues with the project team to verify the project is on track.
Communicate tasks and follow-up with Project Manager until said tasks are completed. It is the responsibility of the Project Engineer to communicate work status, ability to take on more work and communicate when tasks cannot be completed on time because of the amount of work given to you or lack of knowledge on how to complete to work.
Job site walks with Openspace will be required, if and only if, the project allows for photos to be taken. Otherwise, proper documentation will be determined by the Project Manager, at which time you will be required to assist with.
Assist the Project Manager with documentation of said project, relaying potential issues, delays, schedule discrepancies, etc.
Assist the Project Manager in maintaining morale of field labor force and project team throughout.
Assist the Project Manager in the preparation and pricing of EWA’s (tickets) and scope changes via RFI’s, ASI’s, Addendums, etc. Submit change orders requests to the Project Manager for review and submission to the General Contractor.
Other Duties
Attending bi-weekly (or as scheduled) Operations Meetings.
Attend seminars/educational training programs as required by upper management.
Perform any other related or unrelated, unassigned, unspecified duties that may be needed from time to time.

Requirements
Requirements:
High school graduate required, college degree in Construction, Engineering, or Business is preferred.
Minimal management experience required; however, construction knowledge is preferred.
Ability to learn and be proficient with technology/programs.
Able to work in a team atmosphere as well as be self-sufficient when required.
Travel to jobsites will be required.
