Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead OutSystems Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on the OutSystems platform. This role involves leading development projects, mentoring junior developers, and actively participating in sprint tasks to deliver high-quality solutions within an Agile Scrum environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 8 years of experience specifically in OutSystems.
• Strong understanding of OutSystems architecture, development lifecycle, and deployment processes.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Database experience with relational databases and familiarity with SQL queries.
• Experience with integration of OutSystems applications with external systems and APIs.
• Hands-on experience in developing and deploying OutSystems applications.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment, with a solid understanding of Scrum principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Skills:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of OutSystems applications.
• Develop workflows using OutSystems to streamline business processes and enhance application functionality.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Architect and design scalable and efficient solutions using OutSystems best practices.
• Read and analyze the existing codebase to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Estimate effort for assigned modules and provide accurate timelines for project deliverables.
• Interact with offshore teams to coordinate development efforts, share knowledge, and ensure alignment on project goals.
• Actively participate in sprint activities, including planning, execution, and review, ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks.
• Work effectively within an Agile Scrum environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and support.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest OutSystems features and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure the quality and performance of applications.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
