Position Overview
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with industry professionals, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in outside sales, a strong understanding of the luxury home market, and the ability to consult with clients on technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with builders, architects, interior designers, and high-end clientele
Identify new sales opportunities and create strategic partnerships to grow the business
Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to assess their needs and propose tailored solutions
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategy
Attend networking events, industry trade shows, and conduct Lunch & Learns to expand market presence
Qualifications
3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in technology, luxury goods, or a related field
Experience selling to high-end residential markets and working with builders, architects, or interior designers is highly preferred
Proven track record of business development and meeting/exceeding sales goals
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to consult and educate clients on technology solutions
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with strong networking and relationship-building abilities
Comfortable with CRM tools and sales tracking software
Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to the New Jersey/New York metro area
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 (Based on Experience)
Commission: 5% of gross sales (OTE $100K+)
