A Day in the Life at Lansing: Outside Sales Representative
We are seeking a positive, motivated, and results-driven
Outside Sales Representative to join our team. Our ideal candidate will excel in prospecting new business and relationship building, while maintaining a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding sales targets.
In addition to living our Mission of Respect, Service, and Excellence responsibilities include:
- New Business Development: Identify and prospect clients within your assigned territory and develop & manage leads, through 8 – 10 daily sales appointments. Ensure timely follow-up through the Lansing Sales Cycle.
- Customer Meetings: Meet face to face and educate contractors, remodelers, & builders on our products/services, demonstrating the value and benefits for their organization.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and proactively offering solutions
- Sales Reporting: Utilize Salesforce to track and report on sales activities.

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in territory management, B2B outside sales, with a focus on new business development
- Experience with CRM software to manage and track sales activity.
- Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales
- College degree preferred but not required.
Compensation Package
- Base salary (Include Range) plus uncapped commission, with a strong focus on performance-based incentives.
