We offer sales and service of high-quality CNC and conventional chip making equipment such as mills, lathes, saws, and grinders. KAAST also offers a complete line of fabricating equipment including press brakes, shears, angle and plate rolls, laser, and water jet.
Role Description
KAAST Machine Tools Inc is seeking a highly self-motivated and ambitious Outside Sales Engineer/Account Manager to join our team for a full-time, remote role in the PA/NJ Territory. This position offers the opportunity to work from home while engaging with clients, solving technical challenges, and driving sales growth through client visits and phone/email interaction. Most of the Outside Sales Engineer’s Day is spent on the phone and/or in the car. Prospecting of potential customers is required for success in this position. Travel is limited to PA and NJ, plus 2-3 trade shows a year.
The ideal candidate will have strong initiative, excellent business communication and interpersonal skills, and familiarity with the fields of manufacturing and/or production. A successful candidate must be able to manage relationships effectively with new and existing clients, provide technical product information, and work collaboratively with internal/external teams across different time zones, especially during the sales cycle.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned region, while nurturing relationships with existing customers.
- Managing the entire sales process, from generating, leads to qualifying prospects and closing deals, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal/external teams, including Operations and Service teams, to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved.
- Join the Sales team attending trade shows 2-3 times a year.
- Regularly visit customer sites to maintain relationships and create strong long-lasting relationships, follow up on warm and incoming leads and prospect new leads.
- Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations in a timely manner based on customer specifications.
- Ensure all administrative processes are handled effectively during the sales cycle, coordinating with different departments.
- Regularly report on sales progress and challenges to the Sales Manager/President.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Strong self-motivation and proactive approach, with excellent business communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency basic communication skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales or technical roles within Capital Sales Equipment. Fiber laser, CO2 laser, machine tool, and/or fabrication equipment background is a strong plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and ambiguity.

- This is a fully remote position, but frequent travel to visit customers in the assigned PA/NJ region is required. Relocation is required if located outside of these areas.
