Role Description
This is a full-time outside sales role for an Outside Sales Director located in the Southern California area. The Outside Sales Director will be responsible for sales presentations, building relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service, communication, and developing new business opportunities.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
This role is an Individual Contributor position which will focus on new business growth the California Market.
Working closely with our sales rep groups for the CA territory and in-house West Coast Regional Manager. This role will focus on developing new prospects to actively manage and grow a dedicated sales territory that includes existing customers. They will grow and manage the partner customer and distributor relationships and achieve desired business results by supporting customers through their product research and decision-making processes.
A day in the life as a Regional Sales Director:
Building strong client relationships to drive business from new customers and provide excellent customer service and growth from existing relationships.
Visiting customer accounts within the CA territory and conducting product presentations to share the benefits of the Eastern Tabletop products.
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on sales opportunities.
Expanding customer relationships and respond decisively to changes in market.
Delivering top tier sales presentations and reports
Attending National, Regional, and Local trade shows.
Using Hubspot CRM to follow up on leads, manage pipeline, and track deal progress.
Forecasting Monthly and Quarterly performance to senior management.
What you’ll bring to the table:
5+ years proven client/vendor relationship management and sales skills with a strong background within the food service or equipment sales markets.
Experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to spend 70% of your time in the field with clients, end users, reg groups, and dealer partners.
Must be very organized and dedicate 25% of your time to follow up
Travel up to 5% of the time within the USA to national trade shows and quarterly to NJ HQ.

Have experience in the B2B sales within tabletop / foodservice equipment.
Have previous experience in sales for an equipment manufacturer or a food service distributor / dealer or rep group.
Have contacts to start working with immediately and can master your own selling schedule
Have experience working remotely & can report to VP based on East Coast time.

Must reside in southern California with a car and valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time base pay depending on experience with commissions and performance bonus to earn well over $100K / year.
