Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales and Business Development Manager with a proven track record of success and a strong drive to achieve results. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong existing network of potential clients. This network may include decision-makers at businesses, food distribution centers, grocery stores, movie theaters, churches, property management firms, warehouses, franchises, etc. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our market presence, and building strong, long-lasting client relationships. This role demands a proactive, results-oriented individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following key attributes: Strong communication and relationship-building skills Excellent negotiation abilities Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills A proven track record in sales High levels of motivation and adaptability Comfort with prospecting and overcoming objections Responsibilities Leverage Existing Network: Utilize your established network to identify and cultivate new business opportunities. Sales Acumen: Ability to generate leads and use closing techniques to earn new business. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the commercial HVAC/R sector. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing exceptional customer service. Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and ensure client satisfaction. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics. Attend Industry Events: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Technical Proficiency: Acquire a basic understanding of commercial HVAC/R systems, products, and services. Requirements Possess an established network of potential clients. (Mandatory) Valid driver's license with clean driving record. (Mandatory) Ability and willingness to drive company provided vehicle with GPS tracking.(Mandatory) Ability to use a Chromebook. Proven track record of success with business-to-business (B2B) sales. Must achieve a minimum of 1 Million in new business sales per year. Must earn a minimum average of 4 new location contracts per month. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Sheets and Google Docs. This position requires the use of ladders to access rooftop equipment. Candidates must be able to independently use a ladder and be comfortable with heights.
