Position Title: OSP Engineer III

Location: Brooklyn, NY - 2 days in the office per week. However field visits and/or surveys should be covered based on work load.

Duration: up to 30 months

Pay Rate: $50-$65/hour

Must Haves:

3-5 years experience as an OSP Engineer in NY Metro area within Telcom/Wireless Industry

Worked in New York City preferably in Brooklyn or Queens Boroughs

Fiber plant design, and general construction knowledge

Knowledge of the network plant and local practices

Working knowledge of right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition.

Responsibilities:

• Fiber plant design, and general construction

• Experience in telecommunications

• Strong Computer Skills (Databases, Processes, and Administrative) - skill for more complex applications to include Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, Google Earth, etc.

• Experience with working application of engineering systems and databases.

• Working knowledge of right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition.

. Attend Condo and/or Co-Op Board meetings also work with Greenfield developers

. respond to phone inquiries and e-mail communications related to Property surveys and securement.

. Worked in New York City or similar environment familiar with Brooklyn or Queens Boroughs.
