This position involves overseeing outreach projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless collaboration among key components such as customer engagement, content creation, graphic design, research, and web development. The manager is responsible for executing KANSASWORKS' outreach functions in a cohesive manner, which encompasses branding, advertising, public relations, direct outreach, electronic communications, social media initiatives, special events, and research. Acting as the lead account executive, the manager also promotes and develops printed materials for various programs and services, including website content, while directing and supervising the KANSASWORKS Social Media Coordinator. Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: * Manages outreach projects from start to finish, including many key components and individuals such as the customer, content, graphics, research, web, etc. * Assists in all outreach activities for KANSASWORKS * Ensures all aspects of KANSASWORKS' outreach functions, including brand, advertising, public relations, direct outreach, electronic and social outreach (Web,) special events and research, are integrated. * Serves as lead account executive for KANSASWORKS by managing concept development through project completion of ad creation, grant management, special event planning, and direct and electronic outreach. * Promotes and develops printed material for all programs and services including website content. * Directs and supervises the KANSASWORKS Social Media Coordinator position(s) * Establishes performance expectations and priority outcomes, evaluates performance, provides employee counseling and guidance, and assigns work. * Serves as lead account executive for a variety of outreach projects as needed and assigned by the Director of Workforce Services * Manages special web projects as assigned and updates KANSASWORKS graphics Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * Two plus years' experience in journalism, public relations, marketing, business communications or related field. Preferred Qualifications: * Marketing and graphic design experience preferred.
