Job Title: Organizational Change Manager
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 9+ Months
Pay $60 to $70 per hr on w2
Role Overview
CLOB is seeking an experienced Change Management Contractor to lead, develop, and implement change management strategies for our upcoming initiatives, including: organizational restructuring / coverage models, process changes, and system implementations / technology integrations. This person should bring a proven track record in change management, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, B2B technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Change Strategy Development:
- Partner with cLOB leadership to define and implement the change management strategy and approach for key projects
- Identify key stakeholders and assess the potential impact of change on various teams, business units, and partners / customers
- Develop a tailored change management plan that includes communication, training, and support strategies
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Lead stakeholder assessments to understand potential risks, concerns, and resistance to change
- Conduct workshops, focus groups, and interviews to gather input from affected teams and address concerns
- Serve as the liaison between project teams and leadership to ensure alignment and facilitate smooth transitions
Communication and Training:
- Develop and deliver effective communication materials (e.g., emails, presentations, newsletters) that keep stakeholders informed and engaged
- Create and execute training plans to ensure that all employees are equipped to use new systems or processes effectively
- Foster adoption by ensuring continuous feedback loops, offering support resources, and monitoring progress
Impact Analysis & Risk Mitigation:
- Assess organizational readiness and identify potential risks or barriers to adoption
- Develop mitigation strategies for resistance and communicate them effectively across the organization
- Measure and report on change management success metrics, such as employee engagement, user adoption, and productivity improvements
Support and Sustainability:
- Provide ongoing support and guidance post-transformation to ensure sustained adoption and integration of new technologies
- Identify opportunities for improvement and refine the change management strategy as needed
- Coach and mentor leaders and managers on best practices for managing change within their teams
Example Deliverables
Change Management Plan:
A comprehensive document outlining the overall change strategy, key milestones, timelines, resource allocation, and roles and responsibilities
The plan also includes risk management strategies, communication approaches, and metrics for success
Stakeholder Analysis and Engagement Plan:
A report or matrix that identifies key stakeholders, analyzes their interests, and recommends tailored engagement strategies for each group
Includes action plans for addressing concerns and overcoming resistance (e.g., understanding causes, assessing impact, tracking progress and converting resistors into advocates)
Communication Plan & Materials:
A detailed communication plan that includes the timing, frequency, and channels for delivering messages to different stakeholder groups
Examples include email templates, townhall agendas, presentations, FAQs, newsletters, and intranet posts
Training Plan and Materials [in partnership with enablement]:
A training plan that outlines learning objectives, training formats (e.g., classroom, online), schedules, and materials for key personas (inc. management)
Delivery materials that may include presentations, user manuals, quick-reference guides, e-learning modules, toolkits, etc.
Feedback and Evaluation Reports:
Surveys and focus group results that capture feedback from employees, leadership, and other stakeholders (e.g., customers / partners)
Reports on key metrics such as adoption rates, sentiment, lessons learned, change effectiveness, and areas for continuous improvement

Requirements:
Experience:
- 5-7+ years of experience in change management, with a strong focus in B2B technology environments, organizational transformations, software implementations, or digital transformation projects
- Proven track record in successfully leading organizational change initiatives and driving adoption of new technologies, systems, or processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, IT, operations, HR, and leadership.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Organizational Development, or a related field
- Certifications in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) are a plus
Skills:
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in G-Suite, project management tools, and change management software
