Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Proven hands-on experience in Oracle technologies, including CPQ, Oracle Fusion, and OCC.
  • Strong coding skills in Groovy, Java, and an understanding of big machine language (ability to code into large systems).
  • Familiarity with API integration and usage, particularly within CPQ, and experience using Postman for API testing.
  • Basic understanding of Node.js and React (for OCC).
  • Knowledge of Jira for managing tasks, requirements gathering, and tracking progress through to deployment.
  • Experience working in an agile environment, ideally transitioning from traditional release cycles to sprints.

What you'll do:

  • Knowledge Transfer & Training: Lead knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams, helping them understand the Oracle technology stack. Provide clear explanations, documentation, and practical support to ensure team members can operate independently of external consulting teams.
  • System & Business Understanding: Gain a deep understanding of both the Oracle system architecture and the business processes to make informed enhancements and optimizations.
  • Integration with Other Systems: Work on CPQ system integration with external systems using APIs. Utilize Postman for API testing and troubleshooting. Support the team in learning how to handle APIs effectively within the CPQ environment.
  • Technology Sessions & Documentation: Lead working and technology sessions aimed at enhancing understanding and ensuring knowledge is transferred efficiently. Create and refer to high-level documentation, especially when handling price increases and other system adjustments.
  • Code & Script Writing: Develop and maintain Groovy scripts for Oracle Fusion and ensure seamless integration across systems. Basic knowledge of Node.js and React for OCC development is a plus, though not a core focus.
  • Efficiency Improvements: Proactively suggest and implement improvements to bring more efficiency to the team’s workflows, systems, and knowledge-sharing processes.
  • Sprint Cycle Adoption: Collaborate with the team to transition from traditional release cycles to more agile sprint cycles. Work with Jira to track progress from requirements gathering to deployment.

API Management: Implement, troubleshoot, and ensure the smooth operation of APIs between various Oracle systems and third-party platforms.
