Job Title: Oracle SOA Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle SOA Developer to design, develop, and maintain SOA-based integration solutions using Oracle SOA Suite (11g/12c). The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in BPEL, Mediators, Adapters, and Web Services integration, along with strong knowledge of XML technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring robust and scalable integration architecture, and supporting production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop SOA solutions using Oracle SOA Suite, including BPEL, Mediators, and Adapters.
• Develop SOAP / REST services and integrating with Siebel/ Third-Party service providers
• Development experience in both SOA 11g & SOA 12c is preferred
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement integration patterns and best practices for SOA development.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in system integration testing.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SOA applications and services in production environments.
• Optimize existing SOA solutions for performance and scalability.
• Maintain documentation for SOA architecture, processes, and configurations.
• Stay updated with Oracle SOA Suite enhancements and industry trends.
• Support production deployments and project go-live tasks
• Strong experience in different XML technologies (XSD, XSLT and XML parsers)
• Design, develop, deploy, test and maintain technical objects that exist in Oracle SOA production environments, , web services, system designs and integrations
• Implementing web services security, validation, transformation, error and exception handling
• Unit testing, troubleshooting, tuning and fixing issues and bugs
• An Oracle SOA Developer will work with implementation of complex interfaces across Oracle applications and legacy applications
• Perform analysis and development of physical and logical Oracle SOA Composites architecture models for the application, web and mid-tier environments
• Work with the Application server DBA and Oracle DBA to resolve application problems
• Review proposed changes and test them in a test and QA environment
  
  

Technical Skills Required

• Proficiency in consuming SOAP and REST services.
• Strong experience in applying security protocols.
• Hands-on experience with developing OSB (Oracle Service Bus) services in Oracle 12c.
• Advanced debugging skills in Oracle 12c.
• Ability to write and interpret database queries.
• Familiarity with integrating with SharePoint, DMS files, and related systems.
• Experience in exposing SOAP and REST services.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Oracle SOA certification is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Knowledge of Siebel integration and other Oracle Fusion Middleware products is advantageous.
