About the role

We are seeking for Oracle Principal Architect for providing technical leadership, shaping complex solutions to both internal and customer stakeholders. This role involves designing large-scale, commercially viable solutions, contributing to business development, and ensuring cost-effective and risk-mitigated implementation strategies.



Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Design comprehensive, end-to-end solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) that align with client requirements.
  • Prioritize scalability, reliability, security, and performance in all architectural designs.
  • Define the approach to complex solution development and acceptance testing.
  • Control technical scope and direct the design team to ensure an optimal cost structure.
  • Represent Fujitsu at customer forums, conferences, and professional bodies to enhance market reputation.
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of OCI solutions, mentoring teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers, understanding their business objectives and technical constraints.
  • Provide expert guidance on OCI’s capabilities and best practices.
  • Act as a major influence in customer decisions when selecting Fujitsu as their cloud partner.
  • Assess existing on-premises or cloud-based infrastructures and applications.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive migration strategies for seamless OCI transitions.
  • Ensure integration with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises Oracle workloads.
  • Ensure OCI solutions meet industry-standard security and compliance requirements.
  • Implement robust security controls, encryption, and access management measures.
  • Maintain compliance with role-based access control (RBAC) and cloud security best practices.



Requirements and Experience:

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect certification required; additional Oracle certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, focusing on Oracle Cloud solutions and successful implementations.
  • In-depth expertise in OCI, Oracle Database technologies, and cloud architecture design.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, and security/compliance in cloud environments.
  • Experience with networking in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.



Desired Experience & Knowledge:

  • Strong expertise in OCI core services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, Database, Security, and Observability & Management.
  • Experience with OCI-native services such as Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Service, Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), and Oracle Functions.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, identity management, and RBAC within OCI.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and Oracle applications like E-Business Suite, Oracle Database, and middleware.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional certification (OCI 2023 or later) is highly desirable.
  • Additional cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) are a plus.
  • Proven track record in delivering end-to-end OCI solutions, from planning and design to implementation and operational handover.
