Oracle PL/SQL Developer - Hannover

As they continue to grow and innovate, they're looking for a skilled Database Developer with a strong background in Oracle PL/SQL to join their technology team. What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database objects to support core business applications within the insurance sector
  
• Optimising database performance and ensuring data integrity and scalability for critical systems used by internal teams and customers
  
• Supporting the integration of various data sources and ensuring smooth data flow across platforms and systems
  
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, business analysts, and operations) to gather requirements and implement effective database solutions
  
• Working on data migration and database upgrade projects to enhance the company's infrastructure
  
• Troubleshooting database issues and proactively identifying opportunities for performance enhancements
  
  
  

What You Bring:

• Strong experience in Oracle SQL development, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and performance tuning
  
• Familiarity with PL/SQL and best practices in data modelling and database architecture
  
• Experience working with insurance systems or other regulated environments (a plus, but not mandatory)
  
• Strong attention to data quality, reliability, and security in a regulated environment
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  
  
• A proactive mindset with a focus on clean, efficient, and maintainable code
