Contract W2 Only Interview Process: 3-round interview process 2 technical and 1 team fit (panel style) We are looking for an expert senior Oracle database developer to work in the XVA Technology team. The XVA trading desk is part of the Counterparty Portfolio Management (CPM) line of business focused on managing counterparty credit risk (CVA) and funding risk (FVA) in the Bank’s derivatives portfolio. The XVA Technology team supporting the trading desk is a close-knit and high-performing global agile development team where collaboration and communication are key. The successful candidate will work on RADAR, an Oracle database and reporting component of the XVA Technology platform, to design and implement database solutions for complex business data management/reporting requirements. The role entails following the full development lifecycle using Agile development methodologies to deliver new functionality iteratively, assist with testing and deployment of new releases, and provide 3rd-level production support. The role also involves working closely with Trading, Quant, Finance, and Risk teams in New York and London, as well as business analysts and project managers in Technology. Team Composition: Radar team is building bank reporting solutions for the XVA desk. It’s a global team that is based in CLT and India. We have 7 team members. We support a front office application. Day to day: Heavy development work around 80% of the time in PL/SQL Creating new features in Oracle Troubleshooting gateway performance issues Design data models Interacting with end users as needed. Top Skills: Oracle, PL/SQL Expertise (KEY) Python Problem-Solving Must-Have: (5+)(Preferred resource would have 10 years of exp.) Oracle SQL / PLSQL Proven track record in Oracle-based Database with PL/SQL w/ expertise optimizing code base Troubleshooting database performance issues and designing base models Writing high-quality technical code Nice to Have: Finance Exp is Nice to Have Strong communication and team collaboration experience.
