The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and maintain database applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. Optimize and tune SQL queries for better performance. Analyze requirements and create technical specifications. Collaborate with application developers to ensure seamless integration between applications and database systems. Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions. Develop and maintain technical documentation for database designs, code, and systems. Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency in the database systems. Participate in database upgrades, migrations, and patching activities. Work with stakeholders to identify and resolve performance issues. Required Skills: Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development. Experience with Oracle database design, development, and performance tuning. Knowledge of SQL and database management best practices. Familiarity with database security, backup, and recovery processes. Experience in working with large datasets and data modeling. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC). Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
