A growing U.S.-based organization is seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer to join its in-house applications team. This role focuses on maintaining, enhancing, and supporting critical enterprise applications built around the Oracle EBS platform, along with adjacent systems that integrate across business units. This is a full-time position with strong visibility across IT and business leadership, and an opportunity to work on both strategic initiatives and daily operational support.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and configure Oracle EBS modules and integrated applications
  • Collaborate with business users, application support, and project teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements
  • Investigate and troubleshoot incidents, and lead technical support efforts to resolve root causes
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions using best practices
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support ongoing IT and enterprise projects
  • Write, test, and document PL/SQL procedures, packages, and scripts for EBS and related systems
  • Participate in all stages of the SDLC — from requirement gathering to deployment and post-release support
  • Support integrations with upstream/downstream systems via APIs, middleware, and messaging platforms
  • Apply proactive problem-solving and performance-tuning techniques across the application ecosystem

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a developer supporting and customizing Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture and core modules
  • Strong skills in PL/SQL, SQL, TSQL, and working with relational databases (RDBMS)
  • Experience with enterprise-grade integrations and application services (SOA, middleware, REST APIs)
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile or waterfall environments
  • Exposure to financial operations, reporting, and enterprise application configurations
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with both business and IT teams

Nice to Have:

  • Background in supporting application modernization or cloud migration initiatives
  • Familiarity with Oracle R12 or newer versions
