We are hiring on behalf of a major global banking organisation, seeking a Senior Oracle Developer to join their Finance Technology team in Dublin. This is a day rate contract role, ideal for an experienced developer ready to take on high-impact work in one of the most dynamic areas of banking. You will play a key role in designing and delivering Oracle-based solutions that drive critical risk management functions. Collaborating with business users, analysts, and developers, you’ll contribute to building best-in-class systems in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable Oracle database solutions to support complex business requirements
• Write high-quality, efficient PL/SQL code
• Implement advanced indexing strategies, partitioning, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business and technology
• Support CI/CD processes using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible

Skills & Experience:

• Proven expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development
• Strong experience designing and developing large-scale Oracle databases
• Deep understanding of performance optimization techniques
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible)
