My client based in Cape Town (Northern Suburbs) is currently looking for an Oracle PL / SQL Developer to join them on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Guidance and Support
• Offer expertise and support to the product team, assisting with technical challenges and application issues
• Design Solutions and Database Structures
• Create high-level solutions, design efficient database tables and develop software that meets business needs
• Develop and Maintain PL / SQL or SQL Applications
• Design, develop, and maintain robust PL / SQL or SQL scripts and applications to ensure quality software solutions that deliver expected results and value
• Ensure End-to-End SDLC Delivery
• Oversee and manage all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure successful project completion
• Support Business Users and Teams
• Assist with day-to-day queries from business users and PIT teams, providing first-line support and standby services when needed
• Facilitate Effective Communication
• Maintain regular and professional communication across all levels, from junior staff to senior management.
• Prepare Technical Specifications and Programs
• Develop complex and highly technic specifications and programs independent
• Assist Team with Technical Challenges
• Provide support to the team in resolving application or technical problems as they arise
  
  

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5 to 8 years + experience in PL / SQL or SQL
• Advanced technical knowledge in all areas of application programming, system design, and update, storage, and retrieval methods
