Location: Warsaw/Gdynia /Gdańsk/Łódź (hybrid work model)
Rate: up to 170 PLN/h
Summary: The primary purpose of this role is to optimize and troubleshoot database performance focused on Oracle systems, enabling efficient application performance and high availability.
Main Responsibilities:
Optimize queries from both the application and database perspectives.
Perform database performance optimization tasks.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, specifically identifying unoptimized setups.
Implement and manage asynchronous database setups.
Conduct database tuning to enhance overall performance.
Create and deliver reports using Oracle reporting tools.
Setup high availability configurations with FSFO and assess their impact on system availability.
Key Requirements:
Expertise in performance analysis, profiling, and optimization.
Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, particularly Oracle or similar.
Experience with NoSQL databases or Redis.
Proficiency in database tuning techniques.
Familiarity with asynchronous database setups.
Nice to Have:
Experience with containers in Kubernetes.
Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka.
Familiarity with microservices and integration patterns.
