As a Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for...

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle database systems to meet project and business requirements.
• Performing database migration projects, including upgrades and platform transitions.
• Ensuring database performance, reliability, and scalability through optimization and tuning.
• Monitoring database health, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Managing backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
• Configuring and maintaining database security, including user roles, privileges, and encryption.
• Collaborating with development teams to support application performance and troubleshooting.
• Providing documentation, reports, and regular maintenance support for Oracle databases.

What you already have...

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle database projects in GCC environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and backup/recovery strategies.
• Experience with AWS RDS for Oracle and Oracle RAC.
• Experience in Oracle TDE implementation.
• Proficient in Oracle database patching, upgrades, and migration.
• Experience in database migration from on-premise to AWS has added advantage.
• Experience in writing Linux shell script to perform data validation on migrated data.
