Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle DBA for a 6-month contract role. The candidate will be responsible for managing Oracle databases and supporting additional platforms like PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MySQL, with a strong emphasis on SQL scripting and performance optimization.
Position: 6-Month Contract
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases.
- Manage and support PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MySQL databases.
- Ensure database security, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
- Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on design and optimization.
Requirement Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, and SQL scripting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with backup and recovery tools.
- Comfort with Linux/Unix environments.
