Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

Location: Milan, Italy - Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Manage database user accounts and access rights.
• Perform daily database monitoring, including backup report reviews and ticket resolution.
• Handle tablespace, datafiles, redo logs, partitioning, and archive log management.
• Oversee Oracle database and instance management.
• Execute database backup, restoration, and recovery using RMAN.
• Import and export data efficiently.
• Monitor database server health and generate performance reports.
• Provide inputs for database performance tuning.
• Conduct database user management and apply necessary patches.
• Rebuild and analyze indexes and tables for optimal performance.
• Create and maintain scheduled tasks and scripts for automation.
• Perform database creation, migration, and upgrade tasks.
• Optimize Oracle database performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with RAC and ASM environments.
• Configure and monitor Oracle physical and logical standby databases.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Hands-on expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, and Performance Tuning.
• Strong knowledge of database backup and recovery strategies.
• Experience with Oracle database patching, migrations, and upgrades.
• Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting database performance issues.
• Ability to manage database security, user access, and permissions.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation of database tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
