The Exadata DBA will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle Exadata systems, ensuring optimal performance, and providing support for database-related issues. This role involves working closely with various teams to implement and maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and security measures for Exadata environments.

Responsibilities

• Exadata Administration: Manage and maintain Exadata systems, including incident management, change management, and problem resolution
• Exadata Infra Patching: Manage patching of all levels of Exadata Infra. Multitenant Architecture: Handle multitenant architecture and related tasks
• Performance Issue Analysis: Analyze and resolve performance issues
• Database Refresh: Perform database refresh using RMAN methods and expdp & impdp
• ASM Administration: Administer Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
• Database Versions: Work with various Oracle database versions including 11g, 12c, and 19c
• Shell Scripting: Utilize shell scripting for automation and management tasks
• Database Patching: Apply patches to multiple databases
• PDB Cloning: Clone pluggable databases (PDBs) at schema and table levels
• Backup and Recovery: Implement backup and recovery strategies
• Capacity Planning: Plan for capacity based on server resource utilization
• Security: Implement advanced security measures like encryption for data at rest and in motion
• High Availability: Set up high availability (HA) and maximum availability architecture (MAA)
• Disaster Recovery: Define and plan disaster recovery strategies using Data Guard and Golden Gate
• Database Monitoring: Monitor database performance and optimize legacy databases for high performance

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $102,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
