The Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Developer will support a large defense agency’s E-Business Suite deployment by developing and maintaining advanced analytics and reporting solutions. The role involves migrating existing reports to OAS, enhancing reporting capabilities, and ensuring seamless integration with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x. The developer will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to design, build, and optimize data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that support mission-critical operations.
Responsibilities
Migrate and enhance reports from Oracle 6i to Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
Develop, test, and deploy custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations for finance, HR, payroll, and benefits modules.
Administer OAS on multiple environments, ensuring stability and performance optimization.
Integrate OAS with Oracle EBS R12.2.13, Oracle Cloud, and Oracle Database 19c (RAC, ASM, Data Guard).
Work closely with Oracle EBS developers to support RICEFW components and ensure seamless data flow between systems.
Maintain and optimize 120+ OAS reports for data accuracy, performance, and usability.
Provide weekly and monthly status reports detailing progress, issues, and planned activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to SQL queries, BI Publisher, and data modeling.
Ensure compliance with Air Force cybersecurity and data governance policies.
Participate in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning efforts.
Document technical designs, data models, and user guides for reporting solutions.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience developing reports and dashboards in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), OBIEE, or BI Publisher.
Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling.
Experience integrating OAS with Oracle EBS R12.2.x and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Familiarity with Oracle Database 19c, Oracle Database Appliance (ODA), and Oracle BI stack
Ability to optimize large-scale reporting environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in financial and HR analytics.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Security clearance eligibility and ability to complete Cyber Awareness Challenge Training, CUI Training, and OPSEC Training upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle APEX.
Familiarity with Air Force or DoD financial and HR systems.
Knowledge of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Project Costing reporting.
Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools for reporting solutions.
Work Environment & Conditions
Primary work location: Remote, with occasional travel to Port San Antonio, TX as needed.
Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) provided for development work.
