Qualifications:
BS or MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering/Physics
Experience of developing various transceivers with market success. This is a MUST
Knowledge of coherent transmission, wide bandwidth circuits, passive devices and optoelectronic devices (e.g. lasers, detectors, modulators)
Familiar with high speed IC, such as DSP, modulator driver, transimpedance amplifier…
Extensive experience using high-speed optical and electrical equipment: Oscilloscope, Network Traffic Analyzer, Optical Modulation Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Optical Spectrum Analyzer, Optical Attenuators, Wavelength meters, tunable filters, optical noise sources, etc.
Experience characterizing and troubleshooting high-speed optical transceivers
Program the test script in Python
Excellent communication is a MUST
Duties & Responsibilities:
Leading advanced optical transceiver design and development
Design PCB circuit to achieve high power efficiency, low noise, high bandwidth, small footprint in subsystem and components level
High speed circuit layout design, working together with CAD engineer
Characterization of optical sub-assemblies (TOSA/ROSA), and transceiver
Debugging test stations and modules
Work with test engineer closely in NPI phase to transfer product to manufacture group
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
