We are seeking an experienced Optical Network Engineer to support the planning, deployment, and activation of optical network capacity across global data center and edge infrastructure expansions. This role is critical in enabling rapid growth across more than 100 new regions worldwide by delivering high-capacity, scalable, and reliable DWDM-based transport solutions.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end support for deploying new optical network capacity.
• Perform optical equipment configuration and DWDM planning.
• Provide remote support to on-site technicians during installation and troubleshooting.
• Engage in real-time issue resolution and ensure successful bring-up of live traffic.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and operational excellence of the deployed infrastructure.

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of experience in large-scale optical network engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with DWDM systems and planning
• In-depth knowledge of optical systems and transport layer fundamentals
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve unfamiliar technical challenges
