The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking a passionate Ophthalmology Assistant Instructor to deliver hands-on and online instruction in a hybrid learning environment. In this role, you’ll inspire students, support their growth, and help them gain the skills they need to thrive in the healthcare field.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver dynamic and engaging instruction in ophthalmology-related topics
Mentor and guide students toward academic and professional success
Create a positive, inclusive, and interactive learning environment
Model professionalism and best practices in patient care and healthcare ethics
Support curriculum development and participate in faculty activities
What You Bring
3+ years of experience as an Ophthalmology Technician, Optometrist, or Ophthalmologist
Current certification in Ophthalmology or Optometry
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and support student learning both in person and online
Comfortable with hybrid/online learning platforms and tools
