Role Details
We have an immediate need for a operational focused resource with a background in operations with skills in SQL, databases, AWS, ITIL.
The primary short term focus will be to run our daily meter migration process including triage any issues that come up plus operational activities associated with support tickets
Responsibilities:
- As the Product Specialist in IT Systems for Data Delivery Services you are responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of data services to our customers.
- This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage and optimize IT systems that support data delivery, ensuring high performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Your Key Accountabilities
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of key IT systems that facilitate data delivery services, ensuring they are meeting the Service Levels with our customers.
- Act as a point of contact for customers, triaging their technical queries and issues related to data delivery services.
- Monitor system performance and data delivery processes, identifying and resolving any bottlenecks or issues.
- Work closely with product development, engineering, and customer support teams to enhance system capabilities and improve service delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to propose and implement improvements in data delivery systems.

- About You
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant quantitative discipline and relevant equivalent experience (3-5 years).
- Understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes
- Understanding and ability to create and update process documentation
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Demonstrate excellent writing and documentation capabilities
- Show initiative and good judgement and work autonomously
- Proactively and positively formulate solutions
- Can demonstrate complex problem-solving capability
- Ability to work in a fast moving, complex and challenging environment
- Able to prioritise and have excellent time management skills
- Prior experience working with a metering provider would be a bonus.
