Summary

Position Summary

The Operations Training and Documentation Manager is responsible for delivering training in both processes and systems to the entire Operations staff. This role is responsible for outlining and documenting workflows associated with all technology platforms used by the Operations team. The Operations Training and Documentation Manager will manage all quality workflows, training outcomes, and improvements to ensure best outcomes and continue to pursue operational excellence as a department.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver on training modules to support business systems for the Operations teams
  • Develop and deliver on training modules and workflows for the Operations teams
  • Document workflows and procedures associated Operations teams
  • Implement operational improvements around training, support, and self-service staff solution options for operations staff.
  • Collaborate with the Regulatory and Compliance Manager to ensure the operations staff is delivering on all responsibilities associated with compliance, HIPAA, and all other regulatory agencies and laws
  • Ensure the Operations staff adheres to all departmental procedures, processes, and workflows
  • Update and maintain Training Matrix for the Operations teams
  • Maintain HIPPA and FERPA laws in accordance with the compliance requirements of AbleNet
  • Follow and promote the department and corporate mottos (7 Rules of Engagements, Guiding Principles and Listen, Learn & Lead)
  • All other duties as assigned

Core Competencies, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to clearly communicate with team members to share information, address possible issues, resolve issues, recommend possible solutions, implement changes to processes/workflows,
  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to train and coach staff
  • Knowledge of Acumatica
  • Highly proficient in warehouse and manufacturing operations and workflows
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Lean manufacturing
  • Internal auditor
  • Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

Position Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required

Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience with Acumatica preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations

Physical, Time, Presence & Other Requirements

  • 6-8 hours per day keyboarding
  • Some travel up to 10% may be expected.
  • Exempt, full-time employees work an average of 40 hours per week. Additional hours outside of normal business may be required as necessary.
  • Onsite: Full-Time onsite presence is required
