What You’ll Do
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our Operations Team at Darwin LNG. Reporting to the EI Maintenance Supervisor, this role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our asset through planned maintenance activities and coordinating and undertaking breakdown maintenance.
Key Accountabilities Include
- Undertake day to day electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities associated with the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Darwin LNG
- Support the policies, efforts and program of the Santos HSE Management System
- Develop maintenance procedures and JHA’s
- Perform plant operations in accordance with operational demands.
What You’ll Bring
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following essential experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance focused roles within the Oil and Gas, refining or other complex processing industries
- NT "A Class" Electrical Workers Licence
- Electrical & Instrumentation Trade Certificate
- Strong instrumentation experience
- NT Resident (or willing to relocate)
The following skills and experience are desirable for this role:
- Experience with HV Operations and Power Distribution Systems
- Experience with DCS and PLC Control Systems
- SAP experience
- Permit to work systems
- LNG experience will be highly regarded
