Our Operations Support Manager Southwest provides guidance and support to ensure smooth operations in multiple regions. This position ensures the overall success of the division, supporting team members with completing service plans, quarterlies, walk-throughs and other tasks. This Operations Support Manager will provide coaching to team members on effective plan and note writing and effectively completing Competencies.
Minimum Education, Training, Requirements And Prerequisites
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field and 1 year experience working directly with individuals who have intellectual disabilities
One-year experience conducting, writing and approving assessments
One-year supervisory experience required (experience can be concurrent).
Experience conducting and writing assessments and ISPs
Demonstrated skill in administrative program management and supervision
Good oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of and ability to comply with state licensing, human rights, Medicaid and other agency standards
Ability to maintain records, prepare reports and complete required paperwork per licensing and agency requirements in a timely manner
Ability to observe health and safety regulations
Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
Ability to manage work schedule to meet the needs of the division and its programs
Flexibility to work at sites other than usual work location when circumstances warrant
Basic computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office preferred
DSP Supervisor Orientation Certification or ability to acquire certification prior to serving individuals
CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to acquire certification within 30 days of employment
Certification in enCircle’s Crisis De-escalation/Behavior management or ability to acquire certification within 30 days of employment
Valid Virginia Drivers’ license and proof of insurance in compliance with driver requirement policy
Medication Administration certification or ability to acquire Medication Administration certification
Access to a personal vehicle
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
Essential Functions: May be required to perform any of the following duties:
Works as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of developmental services.
Provide administrative and operational supervision and training to team members specific to plan writing and note writing.
Is knowledgeable of Home and Community Based Services requirements and able to train team members as needed.
Will maintain a smaller than average caseload to ensure they remain abreast of operations.
Ensure that services are provided with a person-centered approach.
Manage performance issues and facilitate problem resolution between staff or Family Care Providers per enCircle policy.
Coaches team members on effective methods to complete required Competencies.
Assist in the upload and maintaining data in the Credible records system.
Provide guidance and feedback to DS team members related to file management.
Monitors incidents and completes CHRIS Serious Incidents and Abuse/Neglect Reports.
Collaborates with Regional Manager on human rights complaints, human rights allegations of abuse/neglect, deaths and serious injuries according to regulatory requirements and internal policy and procedure.
Conducts investigations as needed for Level II and III incidents when delegated.
Maintains compliance.
Required to travel.
Acts in the capacity of the Regional Manager or Manager as designated.
Participate in the manager on-call rotation.
Performs other duties, as directed.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 9-5 (flexible hours).
