The Raymond Lumber Operations Supervisor provides leadership to a shift of hourly employees in achieving excellence in safety, quality and production; and is responsible for safely planning, coordinating, maintaining and enhancing operational objectives, and supporting maintenance, to drive continuous process improvement in the manufacturing of lumber products.
The Operations Supervisor is accountable for safely achieving quality, productivity, housekeeping, and process improvement goals. He or she is also responsible for coaching and training members of our team. Most importantly, you will be a safety role model with excellent leadership skills and the ability to lead, develop, and coach team members.
Key Functions
- Responsible for providing daily leadership and oversight of hourly production employees to ensure safe and efficient execution of work
- Ensure proper job and safety rules are followed
- Role model our Core Values (Safety, Integrity, Citizenship, Sustainability, and Inclusion) and lead a culture that thrives in a changing environment
- Proactively identify areas where safety, safety systems, quality and productivity issues could arise and address any concerns
- Lead safety and other team meetings
- Project needs and balance labor resources to ensure continuous improvement in safety, quality and production
- Set performance expectations for teams that directly support the mill goals
- Active involvement in assigning work and evaluating job performance
- Support, coach, and provide timely feedback and direction to employees
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Weyerhaeuser, federal, state, and local laws, and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

What We Offer
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $68,400 - $102,560 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3 weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year
