🍯 About Us

At Mike & Niki’s Honey Company, we believe that real work builds legacy. As the last working farm in Campbell, we blend old-world agricultural grit with modern hustle to grow a brand that stands for local food, clean ingredients, and meaningful impact. We don’t just extract honey—we extract every ounce of possibility from our land, our bees, and our people.

We’re building something bold. And to get there, we need a grounded, systems-savvy Operations Person who thrives in logistics, leads with accountability, and doesn’t flinch when things get sticky. This isn’t a desk job—it’s a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic small business with its wings wide open and grow to be a dependable Manager.

🐝 What You Bring

Operational Stewardship:

You bring structure where there is chaos. You see the holes in the bucket—and patch them before anyone else notices. Inventory, timelines, safety logs? You’ve got systems for that. All while embracing and evolving our systems as we grow.

Leadership with Integrity:

You lead from the ground, not from the clouds. You hold people accountable with fairness and clarity. Your crew respects you because you show up, stay steady, and bring out their best. All while leading by example to meet the standards and systems.

Growth Mindset, Factory Brain:

You love improving systems, scaling production, and removing bottlenecks. You’re fluent in spreadsheets, SOPs, inventory counts, and packing lists—and get the details right.

Strategic Execution:

You understand the difference between busy and productive. You make plans that work, measure outcomes, and course correct without ego. You think like an owner—and lead by example and rally others.

🔧 Your Role Will Include

  • Leading day-to-day operations across production, warehouse, and logistics
  • Overseeing inventory, supply chain, and vendor relationships
  • Implementing food safety and traceability systems (HACCP, SOPs, logs)
  • Coordinating seasonal staffing and daily labor across departments
  • Managing equipment maintenance and production workflows
  • Supporting public and corporate events with scheduling and logistics
  • Monitoring budgets, purchase orders, and procurement strategy
  • Aligning with co-founders on scaling plans and operational KPIs
  • Ensuring compliance with labor, food safety, and environmental standards

🎓 Minimum Requirements

  • 3–5 years experience in operations, production, or food manufacturing management
  • Must be local to Campbell (half-hour drive or less). THIS IS an ON-SITE job (full-time, 5 days each week).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related discipline (preferred or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in supply chain and inventory oversight
  • Proven leadership skills managing cross-functional teams
  • Beekeeping knowledge or ag experience (a bonus)
  • You know how to “own it,” even when it’s messy

How to Apply:

If you’re ready to bring your skills to a purpose-driven hive and help us build the next great food company from the ground up, we want to hear from you. We don’t need a perfect rĂ©sumé—we need a steady hand, master of details, a sharp mind, a good heart, and stunning work ethic.
