The Impact You’ll Make

As an Operations Manager for our Value Added line, you will be at the heart of our fast-paced, high-volume production environment. Leading a team of 100+ employees, including 4 -6 direct reports/supervisors, you will be responsible for driving efficiency, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Your leadership will directly impact product quality, team engagement, and operational excellence, making a difference in how we meet customer demand and maintain our reputation for excellence.

 

What You’ll Do

• Lead & Develop Teams: Coach and mentor supervisors, ensuring strong leadership throughout the production process. 
• Drive Operational Efficiency: Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, oversee and own your area KPIs, and continuously seek process improvements.
• Ensure Compliance & Quality: Maintain HACCP, SQF, and food safety standards, ensuring operations align with industry regulations, maintain specifications and meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Sales, R&D, Quality, Trades, Vendors, and Scheduling to optimize production outcomes.
• Problem-Solve & Innovate: Identify operational challenges and develop solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency and reduce/eliminate waste.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in production/manufacturing
• 2+ years of proven experience and success at leading large teams (50+ employees), coaching, and holding teams accountable.
• Ability to manage compliance standards (HACCP, SQF, USDA regulations).
• A solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
• Ability to influence and engage company resources to address and solve opportunities.
• Shift flexibility as a business unit owner, including weekend rotation coverage.
