Job Description
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and implementing the overall process improvement strategy aligned with organizational goals for the global water division. You'll utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies, to lead cross-functional teams to map, analyze, and redesign business processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall process improvement strategy aligned with organizational goals for the global water division.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with water leaders to prioritize process initiatives; maintain a pipeline of process improvement projects.
- Identify on an ongoing basis single point of failures and work with leaders to resolve.
- Define and enforce process ownership, roles, and responsibilities across teams
- Identify and mitigate risks related to process inefficiencies or failures.
- Utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies, lead cross-functional teams to map, analyze, and redesign business processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance performance.
- Lead cross-functional workshops for process improvement initiatives.
- Set up KPIs, metrics and dashboards to monitor process effectiveness and efficiency.
- Use data and analytics to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to stakeholders.
- Drive change initiatives related to new or updated processes.
- Engage and support teams through change with clear communication and training.
- Monitor the adoption and effectiveness of new processes post-implementation.
Qualifications
- Five or more years leading change through an organization including experience in value stream mapping, process mapping, & root cause analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or other technical degree
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong Change management and facilitation skills
- Experience working with global and local teams Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
- Able to accommodate NSF's hybrid policy (3 days/week in office)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Power BI
- Experience working in the TIC sector or water industry
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
