Summary

The Museum of 3D Illusions is a unique, immersive experience that brings art, creativity, and fun together in the heart of San Francisco. We welcome thousands of guests every month and pride ourselves on offering an unforgettable experience. We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to help lead our growing team and keep the museum running smoothly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly operational reports
  • Oversee HR duties including hiring, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Train and onboard new team members
  • Maintain staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours, events, and holidays
  • Develop and manage operational budgets
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager, Designer Team, Social Media Team, IT team and SEO
  • Coordinate and schedule repairs, touch-ups, and maintenance with painters, handyman, and other contractors
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels
  • Ensure daily operations align with organizational goals and visitor experience standards
  • ​Ensure all health, safety, and compliance standards are met and maintained across operationsF
  • Foster a positive, productive work culture, encouraging collaboration and accountability across departments

  • Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in operations or similar leadership role
    • Strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills
    • Strategic mindset with excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
    • Proficient in time management and budgeting
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Creative thinking and flexibility to work in an interactive, customer-focused setting
    • Experience in working with or managing creative teams (marketing, design, etc.)
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic inventory management tools
    • Preferred: Russian language proficiency


    Work Schedule:
    • Full-time in-office attendance required
    • Training period (2 weeks)
    • Available on the weekends and holidays if needed


    Starting Salary: $84,000 - $90,000 annually + Performance-Based Bonus Opportunity
