The Emerald Hour Operations Manager
Opening soon on Shoreline Blvd in Mountain View is “The Emerald Hour,” the South Bay’s new cocktail destination. The cocktail experience at The Emerald Hour is one driven by high end clear spirits and what our bartenders’ source from local farms and farmers markets. The cocktails are accompanied by a thoughtfully curated wine program, dishes inspired by the seasons, and an emphasis on hospitality. In collaboration with the restaurant’s General Manager and Chefs, The Emerald Hour is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and manage all facets of the FOH operations, service and bar program.
In this role, the ideal candidate will improve upon hospitality standards as well as advance the education and performance of our staff. Primary responsibilities include FOH training, bar management and daily operations. Candidate must display a passion for product, hospitality and leadership.
Requirements
A minimum of one year of experience in fast paced hospitality management (additional fine dining experience preferred)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Fluency in excel and word
Food & Beverage knowledge with a solid understanding of cocktails & spirits as well as a basic knowledge of domestic and international wines.
