Position Overview: We are seeking an Operations Manager for our Services_AME team in Bridgeport, NJ. This role involves managing all operational aspects of the Service Center, including capital expense, quality, cost of goods sold, and delivery. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage all operational aspects of the Service Center. * Supervise cost estimation, project coordination, manufacturing engineering, production control, direct labor staff, hydraulic testing, master scheduling, and administrative staff. * Collaborate with the sales network to achieve budget and Mid-Range Plan volume levels. * Participate in special studies and analyses as needed. * Coordinate with other Sulzer Service Centers to integrate the Global Manufacturing Network for cost reduction. * Secure strategic alliances to support Sulzer's Mid-Range Plan objectives. * Ensure regular and reliable attendance. * Support and participate in company-wide safety and Total Quality Management (TQM) programs. * Perform miscellaneous assignments and research projects as needed. * Oversee the direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Service Center. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. * Business experience in operations, planning, finance, and marketing. * Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. * 5-7 years' experience with pumps or similar equipment preferred. * Ability to develop and foster a team environment.
