We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Business Development Manager to join our growing team in the Manufacturing industry. This exciting role will involve working directly under ownership to develop and implement growth strategies for the organization. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for identifying opportunities to increase revenue and drive business growth. This position also involves hiring responsibilities and client negotiation, making it a critical role within our organization. If you have a strong vision for business growth, a knack for sales and negotiation, and a passion for the manufacturing industry, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to ownership, providing regular updates on business development strategies and progress.
• Develop and implement innovative growth strategies to increase revenue and business performance.
• Manage hiring responsibilities, ensuring the right talent is sourced and onboarded to support business growth.
• Lead client negotiation processes, ensuring profitable and sustainable business deals.
• Drive sales efforts, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to increase market share.
• Utilize software and technology to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
• Understand and leverage the hydraulic aspects of our manufacturing processes to optimize operations and drive business growth.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to support business development efforts.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies as necessary to maintain a competitive edge.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience reporting directly to ownership and managing hiring responsibilities.
• Strong vision for business growth and a track record of increasing revenue.
• Excellent sales skills, with a history of achieving or exceeding targets.
• Experience with business software and technology, with a focus on efficiency and streamlining processes.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and their application in the manufacturing industry.
• Exceptional negotiation skills, with a history of securing profitable business deals.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to monitor and respond to industry trends and competitor activities.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
